This movie is about obsession of a girl, which is served to the audience by making it backwards from time to time. This is a demo movie based on true story takes place 1920’s and this workpiece was my Directed study final project on my last semester. All of the sounds are mostly MIDI sequenced, there’re very few live players. The goal of doing this project would be to make music based on the movie using computer technology and combined with live players as few as I can, so I ended up with only 3 live players (guitar, cello and oboe) and all the rest of orchestral strings, piano, woodwinds are generated from the computer.

This was one of my assignments at Berklee…the scene was taken from Bourne Identity movie. I had to compose the music when Jason Bourne and his enemy are Battling each other on the grass field. No live players involved in this scene.

I was doing this project for my friend in the Music Engineering Dept. The project was to create all the audio elements within short movie and the movie is taken from TV, my role in here is to create the music only and he’ll do the rest(SFX an Dialogs). No live players involved in this excerpt…as a matter of fact, it’s been done all by single computer only.

This is a video game demo trailer called “Halo 3″, I compose the music using Digital performer, running on Mac G5 and utilize all the Spectrasonics products. I did this when I was still enrolled at Berklee, trying to utilize all the computer technology in jingle & commercials writing using nothing all but computer technology. No live players are involved in this music, everything was done via MIDI and I’m satisfied with the results, all the spectrasonics softsynth sounds really great.

This is a commercial Demo. I did this for hobby when I was still enrolled at Berklee and all the Video file was provided by Berklee and student has plenty of choice to pick one. The result of what you hear is nothing more but Stylus RMX’s sample library, no live players involved.

This cartoon movie is a very popular for kids, it’s called the Tazmanian Devil where he always spins every time and that what makes it such a character. This was my project for computer tech applications for film/video scoring class. I composed the music using kontakt2 running as plug-in on Digital Performer. There were no live players involved in this, even though it sounded fake, but the goal would be to compose music that has “cartoonish” vibe like the old cartoon movies, Tom&Jerry’s music has really so much influence when I was composing for this particular cartoon movie. Due to the size of the file, the movie size has to be reduced to improve streaming performance, a hiss has been added.

Rockin’ Morning

I did this after I graduate from Berklee, had enough free time, so I decided to find any music that will fit with some particular scene, in this case journey scene(exciting, fresh, fun, big city). So I ended up with this music and thanks to my friend who accidentally put his idea and music into it and we finally wrapped it up and fits what I want. The only live player involved is the guitar player.
